Sulitbox Responsibility
Sulitbox is not the selling agent. Sulitbox is not responsible for any issues and/or customer concerns about the packages bought online from online stores.
Sulitbox is not responsible if products and packages from online stores received in our warehouse are defective or damaged; if products received in the warehouse has violated intellectual property rights; if products ordered from online stores have incorrect quantity, missing items, or/and low quality; if damages or any losses were incurred before its arrival in our warehouse due to inadequate packaging. Sulitbox does not offer refunds or cancellations for these issues incurred before and upon arrival in our warehouse.
Sulitbox shall not be held responsible if the problem was caused by the customer or a third party. Sulitbox is also not responsible for issues including damages, losses, and delays that may occur due to negligence by customs, carrier company, or government authority, and package held in customs
Sulitbox is not responsible for negligence of the customer which includes, but not limited to, invalid information provided during registration including information of recipient of your packages, invalid information provided during declaration of packages, prohibited items in packages ordered, additional fees that should be shouldered by the customer, failure of recipient to receive the package, violation of the law of origin, destination, or transit country.
Sulitbox will only be responsible for any loss or damage to the package that is proven to have happened after the package has been received in our warehouse or during the delivery of the balikbayan box.
Item Declaration and Prohibited Items
Any parcels that remain undeclared or unclaimed for more than 45 days from our receipt will be considered abandoned. Sulitbox will not offer any refunds on undeclared packages or packages that contain prohibited items.
Sulitbox reserves the right to open packages and inspect if this contains prohibited items or if information of declared packages are incorrect and untruthful. See prohibited items here.
Sulitbox can inform the police, customs, or any related law enforcement if contents of a package may violate a statutory or authorities’ prohibition, particularly the law provisions of the countries of destination or transit.
Sulitbox is not responsible for any loss incurred due to the examination of suspected packages. Packages that contain prohibited items will not be included in balikbayan boxes and will be discarded.
Natural Disasters and Incidents
Sulitbox is not responsible for any delay and damages caused due to natural disasters (which includes, but not limited to: pandemics, earthquakes, hurricanes, etc.) and incidents that are beyond our control (which includes, but not limited to: war, plane or cargo accidents, strike, disturbance, riot, or termination or disruption of communication or transportation or mechanical malfunction).
By using Sulitbox website and our services, you hereby agree that Sulitbox shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, or delay of delivery of your balikbayan box due to the reasons above. You hereby agree that Sulitbox will not adjust, refund, or offer any compensation for any direct or indirect loss incurred including but not limited to loss of income, profit, market, or opportunity.
Services may be temporarily or permanently suspended for a customer when terms and conditions of Sulitbox are violated, or when other conditions where Sulitbox felt the need to suspend service occur.
Sulitbox will arrange delivery of your balikbayan box in a reasonable manner under any uncontrollable circumstance. However, Sulitbox does not have the duty to inform the customer of this and will not be responsible for any delay.
